Why is the UOB ONE being discussed / recommended more frequently, compared to HLB WISE?

With lower annual fee, and better cashback per category, with the same minimum requirement of RM500 spend, why is the HLB WISE not more preferable?

No annual fee waiver is a huge turn off. It makes the effective cashback lower.

while i m using UOB One and agree with the benefits
but do the math first maybe...
RM 60 x 12 - RM 98 - RM 25 = RM 597
RM 597 / RM 6,000 = 9.95%
lower but probably still the highest in the market

[ ( (15x4) X12 ) -98 -25 ] / [ 181.3 x4 X12 ]

Monthly not 500 but 181.3x4

Rm15 cb per category, 8% cb, spend 187.50.

181.3 enough, no need 187.50
If Grabpay / TNG then 180 +1% = 181.80

If you have other CC to pump petrol, then use HLB Wise to pump RM6.25 only for RM1 CB (effectively 16%).

Hi All,
Seeking advice for everyone about virtual credit card, for my subscription of google cloud, google playstore..etc, to avoid any overcharge issue and control the kids spending. Importantly the vcc can be set the limit to min. and freeze if there is any problem, I understand there are wise, alliance, mae, bigpay....etc, around, but which vcc is fit to my expectation with lower cost maintenance annually. Thanks for your advice and command in advance.

Hi guys, I would like to ask:

1. Request increase credit limit on one bank credit card, conventional side
2. Then apply to add one credit card on same bank, but on Islamic side (*I had one credit card on Islamic side too)
3. Then apply one new credit card on another bank as new to bank applicant

Will my applications on all above will be rejected if I perform all these at same time?

each bank have their own scoring and review of your ongoing credit applications (eg cc, loans, etc)

not impossible for them to review your 1-2-3 above as desperate or excessive, compared to your other criteria (eg income, repayment history, etc)

Thank you for your feedback.

I plan to add some cards and remove some cards according to my spending.

Is apply it separately each month would better?

I also do not want to be seen as desperate applicant. cry.gif
