Hi all, just wondering which banks accept credit card application by pledging a certain amount for FD. I know AmBank does but just wondering if there are any others that do too. I am not working atm but do have some FD as I have just come back from working overseas.

Where did you apply online? Just submit the eform? It is not enough, you are required to submit documents to the branch.

But the eform do not have clear instructions. Maybe after submitted the eform, have to wait the call from Affin. Then bring the form to nearest branch.

1. Copy of IC
2. Copy of latest payslip (1 month only)

I just received a call too and coincidentally I'm in KL this week (I'm usually working from home in Seremban), so she will drop by at my office to meet me.
I also told her I wanna apply Visa Signature and she said OK.

My card delivery is in Seremban but I think she is in KL, not sure but since she said can come and meet me, why not.

Just that it's may not be FOC since it'll be RM 25 SST per card.

Is it something odd? I also got free umbrella and Starbucks card when I applied for AmBank cards in two occasions.
Mostly utilise, I only apply cards which are useful for me. I have both with AF and free AF for life but so far haven't paid any AF.

Anyway, the Affin person came to my office area to take my biometric verification for EPF statement. Result will know in a week time and another officer from CC department will call me. No SST rebate for duo cards but VS has RM 30? Not sure if I heard it correctly. I was rushing for my appointment so only updated about it now. No umbrella for me, maybe because I didn't go to the branch? Regardless, I'm happy with the service.

For Affin duo card, let say after 1st year auto waiver 12 times never meet how much is the annual fee ?

I wanted to buy a bike for cash but i stumble upon an option to use credit card installment option.

Is it a good option to pay by CC installment? I am a recent graduate with no credit score history btw
