So..what is the minimum download speed to watch IPTV?..does it needs up to 10MB?..

Is the ping time more important? less ping..how much?..less then 50ms?..

Is using speedtest.net is accurate to calculate it?

this is from my observation during live streaming

4mbps for 360P up to 480P

8mbps for 480p until 720P

15mbps for 1080p

for latency, i been use euro server and it almost 200-350ms response time. so dont have any issues on latency for me.

I think 4/5mbps enough if you only use for IPTV 1080p but if got other ppl also share same internet line with you, you need at least 8/10mbps.

I'm on Astro Time IPTV. Been using the cheaper option of 3MB (RM128 + GST) since almost 3+ years ago.

Bought an Android box recently and when streaming dramas, a lot of "buffering". Also any slight usage of iPad causes the streaming to lag.

Now the Astro Time IPTV option is at 10MB (RM148 + GST), should it be a no-brainer for me to upgrade?

Just curious here..
Why not consider to take Time 100mbps package plus ASTRO (non-iptv)?

My apartment complex sharing a dish with built-in cabling, so I don't have a satellite dish individually. Previously was OK but after some time, the dish struck by lightning frequently and then later the cable wiring kaput. So no choice but have to change to Astro Time IPTV (new fiber optic cabling). Can no longer use non-iptv Astro.
