Hi,
There is a case where DBKL has rented a apartment on AirBNB and now started a lawsuit that the Apartment owner if operating a Hotel without License. The interesting part is that the investigating officer is also indicated as complainant. However, it was actually identified that the real complainant is a "dato" competitor. Does anyone know if it is actually legal for the investigating officer to be the complainant. It seems like a big conflict of interest and I wonder if this is actually legal to do.

this is bolehland. wait till they legalize Uber/Grab first. of course anything involve the government generating extra income, they will implement. so if legalizing airbnb will earn, yes, it will be legalize after this.

Most likely legal, sounds similar to a sting operation.
