Some people just breed dogs for the profit. It's so unfair to these puppies that are sick or unhealthy. sad.gif

Hi,

We will write to the seller to find out more about this transaction.

The best way to find a solution to this is to complain to your local pet authority so that they can help you out, whether it'll be a refund or otherwise.

yes, he gave me the original MKA cert and also vaccination card. The vaccination card have no Vet signature. In the MKA cert show that the puppy dad is a champion dog and so was the dad's grandpa.

Hmmm... is there a microchip number? Well, I would say thank goodness the pup got a home with you but I must agree.... the seller is very irresponsible. Is the pup 2 months old? Anyway, so far, I have never experience a breeder giving the cert straight unless the puppy is about 4 to 6 months old....

Well, local authorities can't really take action coz the seller got no shop, got no receipt of purchase... if not, you can actually write complains and send it to various authorities and also get your consumer rights.... erm, I got a friend who did that coz he bought from a petshop, sold him a very sick pup and he managed to get refund but the poor pup had to go back and die at the shop.... pitiful...

I am guessing your pup got mange? If yes, it is very contagious.... I also kena before... mange can be infected to humans as well. To make your pup less uncomfortable and treat the mites faster, you can use sulphur shampoo. Sulphur sort of soothes the skin and promotes recovery. Did the vet gave your puppy an injection for it?

yap. didn't know about it. now I have pay the price. That why we must create awareness so that people wont fall into the same trap as I am.

Considered this is a lesson. Next time, read up through books or find in the internet regarding the dog you're going to buy. Visit the breeder's place, look at the dog's parents. Bring an experince person with you. It'll help a lot.

MKA cert and vaccination card are not a proof that your dog is healthy. MKA cert is just a cert that show you your dog is pure breed and some informations. But sometimes, a not pure breed dog has MKA cert too because there's too many loopholes when making MKA cert and sellers take this opportunity to gain more profit. As for vaccination card, it just show you the date your pup has the vaccination and when is the next day for it to take again.

yeah i do hope no more buyer will buy a puppy from him anymore too .
he not even ask how is the dog now , and say is a small matter with those skin disease , hahaha . take money then run away . sigh , this is so called a bad breeder /seller after all .
*
This kind of ppl breed dog for money one, they don't care about the dog one. Usually petshops take dogs from them since it's cheap. There's some seller here to act as middleman and that's where the dogs they're selling came from.

oh... then the mange may not be scabbies like that. Well, do get some sulphur shampoo so can soothe the skin.

Yah... 3 months a bit too fast to get cert.... even when I helped my friend to buy GR pup.... the pup was 2 months old and the breeder also told us that only can get when the pup is 5 months old... same with my other dogs as well.

Now I guess just take care of the pup. The breeder must be a puppy miller, so it is wise of you to open a thread here to warn us.

Just some additional info... for those who wants to get dogs in the future, try and make a deal with the breeder if you are suspicious. Always say that you will only buy the dog if you and the breeder go to the vet for a check up first. Normally good breeders would not mind if the vet is near but if it is far, then demand to see the parent dogs as well as other dogs that the breeder breeds. If they appear healthy and happy, that is a good sign. Normally a backyard breeder will not take good care of the dogs and will try all means to promote their pups like saying champion line and all.

A vaccination card without a vet's signature or number means the breeder did the vaccination himself. This is proof that the pup has never been to the vet clinic.

MKA cert can mean nothing if the breeder abuse it. Champion line... maybe the sire or grandsire or greatgrand sire is champion but normally the breeding females are not.... so this is how they get sales lah.
