I am in long holiday right now , and i found out a good application to book homestay and this is my very time using app to book a place to stay.


I am from johor and planning go to melaka and ipoh jalan jalan myself


I am a bit confusing to this application and wondering how it really work ? can anyone clarify my question ??




1. Did i pay full amount and meet the HOST when i arrive at the location ?? WHAT IF THE HOST DID SHOW at last minute ??


2. How the room type , if i choose private room , is that mean there will be another person in the house staying with me ?


3. How to redeem the TRAVEL CREDIT , it is first timer using this application cannot use the FREE travel credit ?? .

As per my experience
1. Yeah full ammount is paid online. You have to get host 's phone number once u book
2. private room , if there is few rooms in the house then yes there will be other guest in the same house. maybe u can choose whole unit instead if u want the whole house by urself.
3. TRavel credit can be used but there is a minimum spending for each..so check your T& C whats ur minimum spending in order to use ur travel credit.

There's a contact host button below 'About this listing' and for your question, usually the host will be sufficient and as per private room then you should have the room by yourself unless stated otherwise. Everything you need to know is stated within the page of which airbnb you're checking out.

1. Yes you pay full amount to Airbnb. You can contact the host before and after you've made your booking for any questions regarding your stay.

2. This depends on the description of the listing. Some are private rooms with shared bathroom, some is the whole unit to yourself, some is just a bed. Some units are joint with the host, some trips you don't see the host at all. So you are better off clarifying this with the host before you confirm any bookings.
