i have recently acquired a blackberry curve from the UK. it is however, locked to a network and as such, i am not able to use it with the maxis network which i am on in malaysia.

an advisor from maxis has told me to try lowyat.net so here i am...

would appreciate it if anyone could share any information on where i can get the phone unlocked (or if i can do it myself), and how much it would cost.

i have tried most mobile phone stores in midvalley and 1utama and no one seems to be able to unlock it.

i have just got the code to unlock the SP-lock on my blackberry; unsure if it is the same for the same models or not, but you get 10 tries, so if anyone needs the code, just PM me.

the code worked for my 8300 blackberry curve.
