may i know is LG U880 can be unlocked now?

Want to know why my wife W850i will change ringtone by itself. I mean like who's calling it will use which ringtone.. all this change by itself twice already. Someone tell me to Master Reset it. Will this work? Pls advise..

sorry i'm new to here for mobile firmware. if i duplicate the topic i'm sorry about that.

1.
well i had a K750i mobile and the firmware wasn't working well with then seems i bought it 2005. that time still under warranty i bring my phone back and asked to help me to fix it. well when it back, they change the firmware to w800i (firmware R1AA008). i'm don't mind actually and the problem solved. anyway now is over warranty since pass 2 years, so i hope to change back to my K750i firmware. is it possible to do it ?

i get disturb by one mobile number, can i plan to block that number so i called digi, but they said they can't do that for me. so i do some googling and found some about modifying the firmware can help me. but i can't understand hope should i do it. so i open up this question.

I read the first few posts and I'm still blur. So please don't mind me asking these following questions:

1. If I reflash my phone with the firmware *.fbn I got from the internet, will it reset everything to default?

2. If I reflash will my contacts, data in memory card and sim be gone?

3. I can't extract the *.fbn file I got after converting to *.raw file. The SEFSTool4 just won't work. Any other way to extract it?

4. Does anyone have the original dispdriver0.dat for w850i APAC CID52?

1st: upgrading / downgrading / flashing firmware has nothing to do with unlocking sim lock.

2nd: be aware of what you are talking. you post makes you sounds like a idiot.

try the modding thread. i think you have already posted there. or try the w850i thread, there are few w850i modders there. meanwhile you can pm sasaug if he can help you.

no, unless you have the tools (which is usually only owned by developers/SE)

tat means ur cda error..not compatible with the telco here...u flash with other region main
if u use xs++ just choose tick cda n choose apac 101..n flash..n prob solve

u cannot flash ur main with different CID
if ur is CID 36 u must flash with same CID tat means CID36
if u want flash with CID 49 u must update ur CID to 49
u can use update service for SE ph ( can get at SE website) or use xs++
