Hi 🙋
I'm currently doing my phd while working fulltime. It's hard to stay focus and being motivated. Is there any support group out there who could help me to stay on track?

Hi Ms. Haidar,

Please tell us your field of study, and some of our PhD members may offer advice on how to stay focused or recommend relevant support groups to you.

Be a bit more specific. Some of us may help. One thing to consider - strict time management is a must. You have to religiously divide your time - PhD and working. If you manage, then most likely you'll prevail. thumbup.gif

Time management is the most important skill needed to be a successful PhD student. Support group usually consists of your colleagues or family.

You have to take 5, else it will 'kill' you from within. Get a hobby, split your time 5 days for PhD, 1 day for yourself, and 1 day for your family. Religiously stick to it. Hopefully you'll manage to get through. icon_rolleyes.gif

Trust me, I've gone through it years ago. whistling.gif

Take baby step... to manage yourself... split your study time, personal time, etc. May you propel through till the end. flex.gif flex.gif

Don't let your PhD 'consume' you. whistling.gif Take it under your total control.

Slow & steady.

Take one at a time. Sort out the reading materials according to specific themes. Build up the reading web, then eventually you'll be able to interconnect it all. Upon that, hopefully you'll see the knowledge gap to be pursued. It will guide you towards your experiments and data analysis later on. Generally speaking of course whistling.gif Specifically, only you can answer the details. sweat.gif

Anyway, what area you're pursuing? hmm.gif
