Last time I changed my battery for RM15 only.

Recently, I went to one of the watch shop, the guy is asking for RM25.

Is that the price right now?

Ask around at other shops to get a better feel of the prices or change it on your own then. We don't know what sort of battery you're getting.

That's how these greedy business people make money. Gone are the ethics of the yesteryears.

Buy the battery from ebay and replace it yourself. If your don't know how it is done, then just see and learn from the shop when they are replacing. In this case, first time have to pay for on the job training. biggrin.gif

Casio also need RM25 at shopping malls, a bit higher end like Tag need RM120 at LVMH, but that price includes checking, polishing and pressure test tongue.gif

still a little overpriced, especially on the work done. but that is the price you pay for buying expensive watches.

but warranty is so that you dont get shortchanged if the watch/device dies prematurely. Unfortunately though, you are getting shortchanged from the over-priced services

Not exactly shortchanged... e.g Rolex standard service is RM2k... it's just a choice whether how comfortable u are with someone handling your RM20k watch...

Fair enough, I agree with this. It is a lifestyle that you choose. I wouldn't mind just disposing my Mi Fit (RM90) if it gets broken, no repairs necessary. But at RM20k you would definitely want it taken care of, but that is not the life that I want mega_shok.gif

Life is too expensive and too short to be attached to a watch (or watches).
