Hi all internet experts, i know this will take many many years for malaysian to enjoy this speed, but i am just curious how can we fully utilise the crazy speed, other than just massive downloading?

Please share your thoughts. How would you use it? smile.gif

it is not necessarily about the data amount that is downloaded, it is always nice to be able to download steam, patches, upgrade OS etc much faster than now. after all, time is money.

To download or upload a file will be so fast. Save time my friend.

Why do u need better processor or better graphic card?
Its the same answer. To render stuff are much faster with new hardware. Again. Save time.

Probably start my own simple file hosting server. If I'm got more hardware, maybe even a seedbox.

Ask yourself why you want to watch HD video instead of SD video.
Ask yourself why you need a smartphone instead of Nokia 3310.
Ask yourself why you want to raise a salary instead of remain.
Ask yourself why you need a car instead of a bicycle.
Ask yourself why you need 1Gbps instead of 56Kbps.

The answer is obvious.

Time is money . I agree but the use of high speed internet is no necessary for biz. You need to get into business IT world in fact, furthermore most company running intranet and it does not required that much bandwidth, all you need is switch and server to split evenly on every single department. To me reliability is so much more important than high bandwidth in biz world. Most multinational co are dedicated their line end to end with telco without any outage, interference nor intermittent. Otherwise telco will get fined for the lost being made.

Unless your office is dedicated underground cable to the whole building without sharing and I bet SME not capable to afford it. Furthermore did you think you really enjoy the full bandwidth provided by telco?

The price is 1000x more than what you paying existing per annum, most of us here shared bandwidth and they will throttle your speed , at their own discretion. Please read the sales agreement carefully before you sign up.

Obviously, I attempt on 1Gbps & 10Gbps, to me it doesn't make a single difference when you are on Wi-Fi. Even with wired connection the speedtest result will up to 1.8-2gbps only. Basically wasting money to invest on high speed internet.

All you need is gigabyte/ terabit Ethernet card , cat5e/6, obviously high end processor from end to end with wired cable as for 2017 world. Fibre using glass and the infrastructure is design for wired. Move your house next to data center, I bet you have better bandwidth compare to everyone here. dry.gif
