Yes of course to personalise. Not sure on just painting  tanks. But a cheaper option is wrapping. A naked bike whole bike wrapping is 500 thereabouts

mostly chain... others are typical service at workshops.

chain lube of ur choice
a brush suitable for cleaning the chain
chain cleaner of ur choice
and a stand of some sort to get the rear wheel off the ground so u can spin it.

my bike only pusing taman weekly, from march till now not yet reach 1000km...

I'll chime in a bit since i experience it 1st hand.

when i rode r25, i went alot of road trips from kl - png like almost a dozen of time since my hometown is in penang. being older, i need to stop a couple of times for petrol and just sheer stress on my body. the vibrations, the wind hitting u made the journey a bit tiresome (well i was tired after 2 hours of riding it straight). I like riding in the night time because its colder so u wont fatigue so much as u ride on the afternoons. still i need to make pitstops for petrol (im a worrywart so i always make sure my tank is at least half full or full and then continue my ride).

I stop not only for petrol and for myself  (usually for myself) but i usually whack the heck out of the bike (full throttle when i have a chance) and having a backpack is not going to help much. so  some pitstop needed for me as i was thinking along of "i've already whack the crap of the bike so let the engine cool for awhile".

Its fun when u ride fast on a slow bike but not as fun when u ride slow on a fast bike or ride fast on a fast bike....

im still too afraid to squeeze in between cars to go through the traffic unless the gap is like very big
i kena other motors honk n shout at few times d for stopping behind a car cause too afraid to go through the gap that is almost the same size as my kapcai

eo 2 bottles / 5k (semi should suffice). oil filter need to be careful so many counterfeit

tire get the cheapest china radial - Angel ST RM700+. no I'm not being a cheapskate here but this tire is good enough for 650 both dry and wet (went through flood that hydrolocked an old Wira, so small puddle is not an issue). can last ~50k unless kaki pulas or lazy to maintain air pressure

brake pads - negligible due to engine braking

chain & sprocket - RM300+ can last beyond 50k with proper lubrication (mine at 110k+ with only used engine oil)

valve clearance - every 40k do inspection. last time upah RM400. if need to adjust, shim RM4 per piece. get the repair manual and diy. else pay RM700+ sekali jalan

plugs - RM80 2 pcs laser iridium. last 100k so yeah, negligible
all in all, for first year you only need to cover the engine oil + filter
i think most cost would come from friend racun you to add this & that accessories
