Unless you are really overweight, maybe can try this
Lean forward a bit, squeeze the tank more with your legs to support yourself. Keep your elbows loose (if not your shoulders will cramp up quick) and little to no weight on the wrist. You can adjust your handle bar to help with positioning.
Try not to sit so upright. Sitting upright puts more weight on your butt.
I've been riding 2 hour stints (fuel only last 2hrs) on my NK which isn't that much more padded when it comes to seat pad. If anything the CB seat is more comfortable.
But as in all things, this needs time and miles to get used to. They don't call it iron butt for no reason.
thanks, I'll take note of this for my next ride. I've added a handle bar riser (handle nearer to me) on the bike hence the more upright sitting position and with a tailbag on the rear seat jutting out by a little bit towards me made me sit even more upright. that prolly best explained the discomfort.Lean forward a bit, squeeze the tank more with your legs to support yourself. yeh, am aware that a soft seat foam might cause more harm than good that's why i am quite reluctant to change it since i lack knowledge of it.This post has been edited by Voopoo: Feb 7 2025, 12:20 PM
