to my knowledge, BMW seems to be the most sporting when it comes to test riding and i had the best experience with them (especially their Gohtong Jaya road shows!)

i still haven't get to own a BMW myself nor do i know if i want a BMW since my only aim is a liter-class SuperSports, can be any brand/models so long it is relevant and feasible when the time is right for me to purchase (generally, when i have the money for it)

People can do many things without any reasons at all and MCO makes it worse.

That, and wearing gear (not a "norm" in Malaysia if I may add) gets people too, like my own experience at many traffic light stops since I wear full leathers a huge majority of my rides (even on kapchai) and people associates full leather = race suit = racing

A* Celer and Komine full leather pants (i also forgotten name/model) with full knee sliders
i've manually modified to add compatible zipper so that the A* can join with Komine

if you can move with air flow, definitely no problem.
crazy hot/sweaty when you're at traffic stops though.
proper inner wear does alleviate the situation a bit.

For reputable mid/high end leather jackets air flow are pretty good. But of course you have to pay the premium of branding, and still deal with the weight of the jacket. Not an issue short rides, but something to think about doing over 2 to 3 hours or longer rides.

And yeah good inner wear is key, at least won't feel annoyed by stagnated sweat underneath the leather/armor pieces
