While we continue to believe in the value of gold as part of your financial portfolio, we have decided that our business in its current form is no longer commercially viable in the current market conditions.
You are free to continue to buy and sell gold, and to withdraw your cash until 7am (Malaysia), Thursday, 2 February 2023.
Any gold that remains in your account after 7am (Malaysia), Thursday, 2 February 2023 [6am (Thailand)] will be sold at 12pm (Malaysia), Thursday, 2 February 2023 [11am (Thailand)] at the prevailing price. All funds will be transferred to your bank account on record within 5 working days.
For our Smart Saver customers, all Smart Saver gold will be delivered into your HelloGold account for you to sell and withdraw your funds by 12pm (Malaysia), Friday, 27 January, 2023.
We expect that the platform may experience high traffic following this announcement and therefore apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused. However, we would like to reassure you that we are taking steps to minimise any inconvenience.

Why don't they allow time to redeem the physical gold?
