so i was in Penang past few days and as usual our itinerary are full with makan stops and this particular incident happened ....... i dont think i wanna mention the place name cos its so obvious and only 1 stall there and... oh well.... not important anyway.

so this amoi wanna buy air tebu drink from this unker, i was queuing standing beside her along with other few ppl.

"amoi mau minum atau bungkus?"

the amoi like sounded no syok and replied "bungkus. saya bukan amoi la !"

unker : "u bukan amoi, u ni ah ma ke?"

the rest of us LOL.. i tahan my laughter and i think she perasan

amoi : "bukan la ! saya melayu la ! amoi tu untuk orang cina !"

unker : "abis nak panggil lu apa?"

amoi : "awek la !"

suddenly a guy behind me said "ataupun makwe pun boleh"

everyone laughed out loud, she straight pay and walk away.

before she left the scene, i can hear her saying "jantan dayus"

i was like then and continue order my nice air tebu

the uncle is colour blind and probably calls all younger girls amoi. this amoi/awek thing only last few years in practice
