Nah i'd just sell the unit from roadshow and keep the extra benefits on POed device. One extra year and one time crack protection are something you can't ignore of.

Still thinking to get the VR or not since there is no much different with Google DayDream VR?

The trade up program never fair to user like us. Just sell it yourself and get it higher than that program.

Also his only news is that The Star newspaper while jump to conclusion he will get better offer than pre-order offer.

That 1 year extended warranty and 1 time screen crack are more worth it to people that want use the phone only, not with the VR or the new 360 camera.

If you want both like me? Pre-ordered it and buy it at roadshow then sell the roadshow's phone. You will get both freebies and offers!

Samsung with its marketing never fail to amuse consumers. We should be relieve to get such offer rather than just get the free Dex or new wireless charger only.

Ya but limited to 300-400 and need to queue up and wait for your turn. While those pre-order just relax at home and go collect with confirm get the feeebies. Remember it's on working day which is Friday.

So both offer from pre-order and on roadshow are fair. There is no need to voice out the unfair treatment.

Of course they will open it and turn on the phone. Will ask you to check the condition and all. Then there is a form to fill to state all's okay and after you acknowledge it, need to send for warranty if problems.
Last time there were dents on my S7 Edge, didn't check thoroughly at the counter, just realized the day after. Then went back to the shop send for warranty. 1 day fixed. Top notch SC laugh.gif

Yup that's why need to check carefully. The most important thing is check the dead pixels. More than 4 IINM can claim for warranty.

Buying from Samsung, if they can fix it, you can get it back in 1 hour minimum.
My previous S7 Edge have some dents at its bezel. Need 1 day to change with new bezel.
