And why are they more exclusive than the official Samsung distribution channel?

If you look up eBay, the case from Kase is similar to a brand called CAFELE. Search for "Original CAFELE Ultra Thin Slim Back Cover PP Case For Samsung Galaxy S8 S8 Plus", it's US$5.99 plus free international shipping.

I suspect it is the same one. The Kase website doesn't toot their horn about internal product development of the case, so they might be distributors/resellers.

Lazada status still "In Processing" - "Your item(s) is being packed and ready for shipment at our merchant's warehouse.", which has been unchanged since 27 April.

That's probably because the link links to their pre-order product page, which is no longer on offer.

My Lazada status has been updated to "Shipped".

"03/05/2017 Your item(s) has been shipped with our logistic partner."

No tracking number given.

Although what I think they mean is that the logistics partner e.g GDex or whoever has taken all the S8s and are holding them in their distribution depots for delivery tomorrow.

I've not done any preorders before, but I believe some vendors have quoted a long delivery window (4 May - 9 May or whatever) to account for orders outside the Klang Valley. I believe most Klang Valley pre-orders will be delivered by 4 May.

Or at least that's what I hope smile.gif

I meant the original quoted delivery date was 6 May. They haven't proposed a new collection date/time at my chosen pickup point.

Ninja Van delivery to pickup point is taking forever. All authorised sellers had 3 weeks to plan for this. Unacceptable.

Still haven't got my S8+. Bought on Lazada, delivery via Ninja. Was suggested I choose pick up, which they said would be faster so I opted for it.

What the F is this bullcrap? Every party in this launch had 3 f'ing weeks to prepare for this and they're still swamped.
