Pre-order collection procedure
Samsung Official Store 1. Print and bring your pre order receipt with ipay88 deposit receipt and your IC card 2. Pay first but DO NOT sign the acceptance form yet until you check your phone and everything in order. 3. Check for the red tinting issue a) Turn on your phone b) Type this at your calling screen *#0*# and select LED c) You will see all white background u can check from there whether there is red tint by comparing with the demo set or other new units  RED TINT If you detected the red tinting insist to change other unit or reject. If sales person giving problem kindly show them this thread. Once you signed the acceptance form they might ask you to send for warranty OK Proceed to sign to the acceptance form d) Check for any scratches or damage on your phone. f) Check your warranty activation make sure its 24 months. Ok, good. Glad to have new TS taking over. We used to take turn to become TS back then in Samsung Note series official thread. New TS bring new info and new layout and will give the first few posts a refreshing new look. Wondering whether any other official thread still have this awesome tradition.

I've used kingston twice but it just won't last me more than a year... Is sandisk ultra okay? What about samsung evo plus? I noted that sandisk is cheaper than samsung but the specs are almost the same... Any advice? |

If one get the 360 + Gear VR at half price, then the saving of about RM750 is much more than the free warranty upgrade of RM249.

I have ordered mine from Shoppu. Was apprehensive earlier but then realized its an online startup from AEON and that was enough for me
for me, flat discount of 300 mattered more, since i wont have much use with the wireless charger or the puny powerbank. Deal breaker was the screen warranty only within the first year |

Actually i buy it mainly use for Car Driving Recorder, coz few days ago met in an accident, now realize it important to have a cam-recorder in car when driving, so this 360 degress video recorder is perfect, when going vacation, can bring it out too.. But it is quite true coz Iphone is more "user-friendly". All my 4 bosses (young and old) use Iphone, they were using Blackberry previously. Most of the other office staff are using Android. My wife's work place also same. There was once one of my older (65 years old) boss's Iphone spoilt and because Samsung was hot that time (can't remember which model - maybe S7E or Note 5), he asked his PA to buy one for him. The reason that pushes me to get the phone is that the GPS in my phone is not working well. I need the GPS to move around.
Service center quoted me 1.2k to replace the motherboard which is insanely high. Another option is to get a cheaper phone for GPS purpose only but I'll need to carry 2 devices which is too much of a hassle. |

It will not cause any loss on user setting, files, apps and is not a hard reset. My Note 3 running on custom firmware also faced a similar issue, and I knew for sure it's a software problem, and this helped me getting back my GPS signal back, a very strong one I must add, accuracy highest at 3meters, and averages around 10-13meters range |

But what the lady told was also true, its kinda difficult to operate it with one hand and u wont be easily reaching the fingerprint scanner at the back as well. If it is me, ill take s8plus, but since this is for my other half, s8 wuld be just fine for her |

Regarding the question of "duos" on the back, it seems that KLGadget guy posted a review last night. Assuming that SME set already ready in the store, then their unit could be the retail unit (not 100% sure though).

I dont think PO customers should rage that roadshows offer almost similar freebies. Those roadshows are only at 3 places and some more limited units. PO are guaranteed of those stuff.
But i do think it's a bit unfair that they don't offer the 50% discount to PO. Lol. But if they offer to PO, how they gonna control if the numbers are limited cause PO can collect a day earlier. Maybe they're afraid PO will tapau everything and no more stocks for roadshows. Haha. |

anyway really topkek SME management..
11street gets to one up SME every single time. 1) they take pre-orders earlier than SME 2) they give better price (some get to use rm100 off coupon) than SME 2) now they deliver the phones even before SME launches. for future pre-orders SME can go fuck off and die.
