Note 8 will have several strong selling points and value proposition not available on the S8 like:
1. New S pen / features.
2. 6GB RAM.
3. 128GB storage (50% probability)
4. Larger 6.5" infinity screen.
5. 2nd generation 10nm processor. (50% probability)
6. Dual lens improved camera (Hello S8?)
7. Improved fingerprint positioning, iris and face scanner.
8. New hardware innovation / features.
9. Last but not least, the highlight of the story. A new type of battery for Note lol.
1. Agreed. If S-Pen is a must, then no choice must go for Note 8.
2. Most likely.
3. 64GB option will still be available. 128GB may need to wait for next year as SME usually won't bring in the highest spec so early.
4. So far the rumor said 6.4'"
5. Samsung already announced that 2nd generation 10nm proccesor will be start using in next year, which is the S9.
6. Most likely.
7. Rumor said the fingerprint positioning will still be on the back. It said fingerprint sensor under the screen technology is still not yet ready, at least for this year. Even iPhone 8 also have to follow, based on the latest leaked out footprint..
8. Definitely. But CPU and GPU will still be the same.
9. No doubt about that. But at the same time, they may put a smaller capacity compared to last year.
Just my 2 cents, from a note series user who planned to buy Note 8 but no choice have to go for S8 first because current phone is having issue.
