went to apply clear coat last night for front and back only, but case keep pushing film at the upper and bottom lip. anybody experienced this? using ringke onyx btw.

will samsung have the machine to trim the sp for us so that it can fit to cases? anyone trim before?

they only have the 'machine" to trim the microSIM to nano sim I think. Trim mine yesterday.

EDIT: Seriously, I think their SP only good for their own casing which provides minimum protection. Most third party casing will have thicker "wall" at all 4 sides that will push the SP up.

Just went to 1 Utama and checked out the S8.

A few personal opinion and thoughts.

S8 looks so small but its display is actually the same size as most phablets if not larger which most people probably cant tell from first glance. Pretty confounding stuff if you ask me and I was like is this phone even a phablet?

S8 plus screen is too tall and the new UX should enable swipe down to pull down the notification menu. It is narrow which is good for one hand usage but if they widen it it will have a much larger screen like a 6.5 inch display which in my opinion is a more grandeur display.

And that will happen in the Note 8.

All in all, sales is all good for Samsung now and competition should intensify later this year when iphone 7s, 8 clash with the Note 8.

S9 even better . New cpu

i measured liao
when viewing a 16:9 photo/video on S8, the actual screen estate is only 5.15"
I suspect even viewing the same on S8+, it won't take more than 5.3" diagonally

the screen size seems big on paper, but when i finally got a touch on it, its just a taller version of iPhone 7 thats it, in terms of screen size

It's in the settings. Go to Settings->Advanced Features -> Caller ID and Spam Protection
