Yup the plus model is seriously nice with the 6.2 screen on a 5.5 size iphone. S8 is like a p10 with 5.8, perfect ergonomic for outdoor sports person like me :-)

Samsung should have demoed the S8 in every store once officially announced.

Ya. Comparing to S7 Edge accessories, S8 is cheaper. This time I may go for the LED Flip cover.

Samsung had different cam sensors before. If lucky, get Sony otherwise is the inferior Samsung in-house sensor.

And don't forget exynos vs snapdragon.

You mean his screen cracked and Samsung refused to honour the warranty because of a 1.5" scratch on some areas of the screen?

Samsung official Clear Cover that comes inside our starter kit.
Things to note:
1) it has different colour, but idk if we will get ours depending on our phone colour or not. The violet colour imo looks neat. Can check out all the colours available here sos
2) no front bump protection, so wont protect your screens when you lay your phone screen down.
3) the camera and fingerprint scanner is separated unlike same cases that leave 1 big hole there. Looks better and helps with navigating to the fingerprint scanner so that you dont accidentally touch the camera lens.

Is the dex docking available at the roadshow? Was thinking to get one after picking up the phone ..

Damn the dbrand black dragon skin is good.. Add some needed grip on the back glass and has some textured feeling too.. Applied on my G6...cant wait to apply on my s8 this thursday

The skin would eliminate the fingerprint magnet issue and good for people like me who like to use the phone naked.

I try hard to psyche myself of not getting sucked into purchasing this one with Note 8 specs despite rave reviews and temptation pretty much everywhere on the internet.

Note 8 will have several strong selling points and value proposition not available on the S8 like:

1. New S pen / features.
2. 6GB RAM.
3. 128GB storage (50% probability)
4. Larger 6.5" infinity screen.
5. 2nd generation 10nm processor. (50% probability)
6. Dual lens improved camera (Hello S8?)
7. Improved fingerprint positioning, iris and face scanner.
8. New hardware innovation / features.
9. Last but not least, the highlight of the story. A new type of battery for Note lol.

With that said, that kind of offering should do more than enough to inferiorise the specs and market value of S8 flagship.

As always, it's really difficult to keep up with the Samsungs as their product life cycle is every 6 months and I write it down to psyche myself into resisting temptation.

Well, i agree with you. Not about that butthurt part but on that amplified part.

People always raise up issues about phones. Iphone 4 with their antenna gate, iphone 5 with halo effect in their pictures, iphone 6 with bending issues.

Seriously in real life does that really an issue? I doubt that.
