I dont mind about the top heavy thing, but what I'm concerned about is the tuning stability and higher frets..
It's a set neck isn't it? |

QUOTE(RustReaver4D1 @ Mar 23 2007, 10:33 AM) Really depends on your style... having only one pickup (a bloody 81 in the bridge some more!) may limit what you can play... the 81 in the bridge is not very forgiving for lead playing - way too much gain and very very bright. Yeah.single emg..IMHO, not a very versatile guitar.. but if you're an Laiho-wh0r3, then go for it! Cuz I do have my ibanez which does metal really well.. How much do the Epi LP custom go for? I've never seen one here yet. >_> Hey guys, guess what song this is an I'll give you a link to a "Thriller" http://www.esnips.com/doc/d18aeddc-03c2-45...ec5e2f78/A-Clip This post has been edited by headhunter7: Mar 23 2007, 12:20 PM |

Um... the straplocks wont damage the guitar.
Im using one, the material of the underside of the straplocks is rubber. I'm still using it after..2 and half years? and nothing is wrong with my straplocks or the guitar. |

^ A humbucker is still a humbucker..
@_@.. It'd never change.unless somehow someone modded your controls or something. GAH I havent been looking into guitars anymore. Nothing much to see, after Trivium/John Petrucci/Joe Satriani. Not that I've improved much, but... entah. XD |

SweetTooth.
How bout you play your guitar, with the pickup switch on the humbucker position. thats how it's gonna sound. Maybe not similarly, but..thats just it! A humbucker is always a humbucker! @_@@_@_@_@_@_@_@_@ |
