When there's a thunderstorm, you have to off every single equipment in the house, be it the modem, computer, air-con, TV, radio. And just to be extra save .... i always unplug all power cables from the plugs during a thunderstorm.

I have never had a burnt modem or a burnt PSU and never got shocked before   
I think its possible ... coz your body completes the cycle flow of the electricity. 

I can't think of having 100K++ Watts going through your amp and your guitar

well i guess it can't be helped right? i mean they have to keep cost low to be able to churn out affordable guitars for us. . . not everyone can afford a Gibson costing 7k plus. . . on top of that i say give them a few more years and maybe they'll pickup. . . Japan used to be like the "china" last time. . . all the big names are going east lolz. . . even the Ibanez S series are all made in Korea now, including the prestige models. . .

dude, playing guitar is not about being how fast, great or pwning u are ... it's about passion .... if the criteria to play guitar is to pwn other people with ur skill then just quit ....

i'm not expert, but it seems it should come naturally by intense practising. Try the sweeping on different arpeggios patterns, in order to familiarize both your hands...

and pay attention to your picking/sweeping hand : it should be frozen. The movement should come from the forearm, not from the wrist or the fingers...

Hi I've got a pretty simple question and I don't really feel like opening up a thread just for the sake of it and I don't really know where else to post this question.

Where can I find a decent guitar strap with shoulder pads? Planet Waves stock these straps but I was told the strap locks rub against the guitar and may cause damage thru extended use. And the ones without strap locks, come without the shoulder pads either...

Well, hopefully they start bringing in CHEAPER WELL MADE GIBSONS/EPIPHONES then I'll consider that.

For the moment.... If I can buy a Jackson here in Bentley, I'll do that.

Also, don't forget.... they offer alot more models then what we can find here.

I find it good that the consumer has a choice now, instead of having to pay a premium JUST because we have to.... So shops are getting more competitively priced and offering better service in order to get us to buy from their stores instead. There's nothing like testing the crap out of a guitar before buying it.

So, it's all the consumer's choice really. If or course Malaysia offers the same guitar at the same price, heck.... go support your local retailer then. It's better, because you can actually test, inspect and try out the guitar before purchasing.

Anyway, Guitar Store shouldn't be hunting me since I buy my accessories from them and brought them some business too.
