i decided a new guitar anytime soon, i love my current guitar
scared if get new one won't play my old one liao
maybe if i play my guitar enough i'll build some sort of connection with it and some stuff will happen..

if i get a new guitar most likely i'd get a whammy bar cuz my current one doesn't have one. actually i don't need a new guitar, still noob

my friend was like too haha mellowed down and now he's playing "just chug chug chug's"

fast vibratos sound good too but slow ones are definitely great. actually, vibrato rocks. =/
too bad i dont actually practice it, i just do it(dunno if i'm doing it good :s)

well there are 2 ways i do a vibrato, one is bending the string up and down a little and the other which i seldom use is by wiggling my finger furiously. i find i have less control over the wiggling thing

i seen people play it, sweeping parts look sick
but the song is overrated imo

oh i see..
i much prefer the left most one cuz the middle one keeps on slipping when i play so i bashed it up and made the right most one

yup i feel it has MUCH more grip

didn't like the xl. main reason why i liked the jazz was because of its size and thickness

how much did you pay for the set ?

i sweat a lot when i play too. so far it's been good, maybe you can try the tortex jazz? they might have better grip.
i like jazz's cuz of their size and thickness mainly.
once i tried it i never used any other pick because i always felt regular picks were a bit too big

what guitar you looking at?

comfort?
the weight is it?

i thought all strats have whammy bars
i dont think those s-s-s strats will get the job done for metal...

my guitar is 5.0kgs
i feel it has good upper fret access tho i don't use those high frets much on the thick strings
