im sure we've been through this before
check out the cheap guitars and amps thread

most ppl affre for under 1k an SX strat and a roland microcube is the way to go

but of course if the 1k is only the guitar budget then it opens alot more choices

Well, ads like these could backfire for being a cheap slap at its competitor. biggrin.gif Still I applaud the creative of the writers. thumbup.gif
Don't assume. whistling.gif The 2 cans one was good, but this one is guitar-related lol, otherwise I won't post it here mah. laugh.gif They were probably aired around the same time as the commercial styles used were similiar.

my friend just told me that kirk hammett ties his right hand so he can't feel anything on his fingertips so that he can play for hours ohmy.gif
can anyone confirm this?  blink.gif
*
i remember reading or someone told me that he does that to prevent his hand from cracking and bleeding

but it most prolly isnt true =/ cuz i can barely remember where i got that from =/

the strings still sound ok to me laugh.gif
maybe i try new strings this time, try the purple elixir instead of the blue one i'm using
*
Purple one's are for acoustics.
The only difference on the electrics [blue packages] is nano or poly web
too bad polywebs are not available on .11 =/
but the extra brightness, as in REALLY bright sounding nano webs compliments my lespaul well so im not complaining smile.gif

the 6.6k ltd has ugly pinstripe
esp sv with the proper pinstripes cost 12k and 2 buckers unlike std bridge only laiho has
and that has proper pinstripes

but then no built-in pre-amps so its not an accurate copy of laiho v's

but i think they now have sv's which has the built-in preamp laugh.gif
no idea how much it costs tho

that looks awesome. hmm. why would i go for a mini stack instead for a full stack if money is not a concern ?
*
not practical
100W is only 2 times louder than 10W [not exactly numerically but rounded up should be around there]

100W is wayyyy more more expensive and also you really need to crank it alot b4 u start getting the tubes driven

like that mini 20 all tube stack u won't get neighbours complaining to drive the tubes
tho 20W should be PLENTY loud =/

instead of getting all that...
why not just get the ibanez S or SZ series? couple of the rare few ibanez that i actually dont mind.
only 22 frets tho, but yea who needs 24 tongue.gif
*
s/sz series using mahogany body
looking for a brighter sound instead
=p 24 frets on 25.5" scale should play like 22 fret on 24.75" scale right? [lol im assuming]

Weird. All the time I thought Herman Li was using a "standard" S Prestige with 24 frets........
That's what he is promoting in the ads.

Oh....

Check this out.....
Some guy made a multi-fx processor from a PSP.......
