Hey everyone!
I wanted to know if any of you guys who are still playing (or planning on playing) are playing on any EU servers, and if so which ones. Currently I am on RoF [Ring Of Fire] and we are paired with Gunnar's Hold and Underworld. It would be nice to find some other fellow M'sians, I feel like maybe I am possibly the only Asian around there lol. I do WvW 99.9% of the time but I don't mind doing pve/pvp [mind you I've done basically none of it, never done a raid even and I'm still deer rank in pvp, but I am wvw rank 2020 gold knight XD. I like testing all kinds of builds on all classes, even the crazy gimmick ones or pure cancer, I don't mind [seeing as I probably need to find their weakness anyhow]. I am not a good dueler and lag is the biggest killer, but I do love playing wvw everyday. Let me know if any of you guys are on EU servers and don't mind me adding you to friends list and maybe play together or even just for chit chat. I don't even mind if you are on US server, as long as I get to know some fellow M'sians. Thanks!

Sidenote: I do have HoT.

I have tried playing in gunnar's hold. The thing about eu is that it's dead whenever i play be it in the mornings, afternoons, and even evenings. By the time i sleep, the euros are back from work/school/sports. Before hot i spent my time solo capping towers, keeps, and even smc (i can kill enemies who disturb me np if just a couple). Now with all the dumb auto upgrades, making holes in walls take forever, and hot specs make it harder to win outnumbered fights while tanking lords, not that it's impossible. I always play in semi full populated servers in na now... I have regular friends to roam with and taking stuff is always fun even if i go solo because of more activities all across the four maps.

Ahh that's strange, I always find activity and it only dips if we are against blob servers and the general casual population get demotivated and it creates a snowball effect - this happens on any server really. We were actually doing good in the past few weeks, rising up in ranks but now we've lost our pairings with gh and uw, with Anet questionable linking us with Aurora Glade (maybe it would be a better pairing with sfr for them). Uw got paired with Gandarra which is a good link for them, pretty hard fights against them now since we are fighting them. I don't really find any shortage of fights in any time except it dwindles around 2-5am server time but there are still people. Most of the time the problem is capping camps/towers/keeps without a zerg on your butt. I play all times of the day so I can generally tell the population flow on my server and the servers that play against us and it's not really bad, surely not dead. I hear rumours that a new expac is coming, hopefully that don't kill everything in wvw once and for all.
It's too bad there wasn't any action going on when you play, what's your ping like in NA? I usually take note of all the gw2 ip's I'm on (using /ip in chat), some ip's in pve/wvw can be really bad so I can always tell when I'm on one of their bad servers, but I am pretty sure the servers could've also been overloaded. Speaking of hot specs, it feels so fun just to go around in core builds killing people with HoT builds hehe.

I have been playing in Farshiver peaks, it's always active and normally fight in blobs during EU active hours.

But I am getting tired of the GW2 though, feels like it's endless grinding, like the new WvW system again.

The PING from Malaysia to EU is always bad, i am getting about 250~350. It's playable and you won't feel much difference unless you have always been playing around 20~50ping like those europeans, they will scream and curse when their ping is more than 80. lol.

Whiteside Ridge here, but I am bored of this game already. I have been playing since beta and mostly WvW, which you can burn out from pretty quick. Underworld>Gunnars Hold>Far Shiverpeaks>Whiteside Ridge. Also terrible ping can be pretty annoying specially in blob situations.
