if resolution is your problem then I doubt using a better camera (or even DSLR, if it's possible) will help you. both already shoot at least 1080p, already on par with most DSLRs.

FB live depends more on the network connection, yours and also your viewers. if your phone is getting good wifi, resolution shouldn't be a problem. dont forget powerbanks too
