I am interested in broadening my investment portfolio into real estate - either a residential property or a commercial property. Some that have caught my eye include the Sime Darby development near the Gombak LRT station, EcoSky along Jalan Kuching, Emerald in Rawang by Guocoland, and iCity in Shah Alam.

But before I zoom into a particular property, I just want to know - which are some of the more reputable land developers? I hear TOO MANY horror stories about buying properties, seemingly with 90%+ developers being in the terrible territory.

Please just give me some recommendations of what companies you think are good and which companies should be stayed far away from under any conditions. Thanks!
