I currently have the E2260 from LG. Looking for an IPS display, at 23-24 inch display. Budget is around RM1k. Particularly interested in those Dell's Ultrasharp monitor. Are they worth it?

if have the budget , is worth it. (Good stand that can rotate monitor, tilt, bring it high up-down, has display port connectivity, hdmi, 3 years warranty 1 to 1 swap).
Also depends on your usage though. Photo editing? Programming?
Dell Ultrasharp 24 inch 1920x1080 U2414H = RM900
Dell Ultrasharp 25 inch 2560x1440 U2515H = RM1200 (More resolution or workspace to work with )

For other brand ips, 1080p can get around RM400~600, but does not have all those goodies mentioned above.

Thanks. Am looking for a noticeable change from my current monitor. If it is only a minimal change, then i will keep my current setup.

You will get a better response time, input lag, black depth, contrast, color accuracy out of box, and some features from U2414h u2417h or U2515h than a common RM500 range of monitor.

I am a gamer, but I want a good looking monitor, as in better colour and contrast. Nowadays there are many gaming monitors around, but mostly are TN panels with better response time. Uglier colours though.
