Hey guys, does anyone know how to set data to 2G only on iPhone? This is because some places have horrible signal which kills my battery.
Like on maxis and celcom, there is an option in the settings to switch between 4G, 3G, and 2G only. But on umobile there is only the option to enable or disable lte. Anyone managed to solve this?

QUOTE(magnumkaiser @ Jul 18 2017, 05:57 PM) Setting -mobile data-mobile data option I tried going there but it only shows the setting to enable or disable lte as shown in the picture below. On other carriers I had the option to manually switch between 4G 3G or 2G.. Maybe umobile hasn't updated their carrier settings for iOS? Or is it just my phone? Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(DCXW @ Jul 18 2017, 07:29 PM) But older iPhone models all still can set, so this means still have 2g option QUOTE(Awakensoul @ Jul 18 2017, 08:28 PM) Hmmm I wonder if older iPhone models all got VoLTE or not. Since the guy you replied to said coz Digi and Umobile enabled VoLTE. Hi so I'm just wondering, what iPhone models you guys are using? And whether there's the option to lock the signal to 2G only?
