UPDATE: The high-speed data on P78 is capped at 5Mbps and video streaming is also capped for 480p viewing similar to its current Video-ONZ offering. U Mobile has also blocked MiFi usage, so if you plan to share, you’ll have to use it on a smartphone with hotspot enabled. aiyooo can use 4g modem or not

Guys, actually if you don't want Video-Onz because of the speed cap (like me), you can contact U Mobile customer service and tell them you want to opt-out/disable Video-Onz. After that, any video streaming you do will deduct your main data quota. The best thing I like is, no speed cap, so watch YouTube 1080p without worrying about buffering (unless if that particular area is having bandwidth issues, then don't say la).
*
dont ask more la, why not up sikit speed capped to 2mbps or 2.5mbps so that customer can stream 720p without hassle. also not utilise main quota..i think 720p is enough for youtube/netflix streaming even on desktop..sure you can opt out video onz by sms, but the oppoprtunity cost that your main quota will be utilized..hurmm...Me average video onz >30gb a month..

anyone knows how to link a new bcard to an existing umobile number?

i have 2 numbers, 1 points are credited whenever i top up, the other 1 no matter how much i top up no points will be credited. any ideas why?
*
did you activated the bcard on your new number? it is not credited on the spot as you top up as far as i know..as for my postpaid acc, it is credited nearly 2 months after i pay the bill..same as shoppin at 11street and lazada and. untung lorr, sudah redeem nearly RM100 to pay the bill when there is promotion 500points=RM10 top up

almost useless plan, maybe useful for foreigner RM 128 for 20gb data whole day

RM 128 available for 4 times Umi30 which is much greater thatn this plan so far
*
YEs exactly, better use P98 for home broadband.. MB40,MB68,MB128 totally useless. Use CPE modem then can make and receive call and potong TMnet for unlimited calls (P70,P78,P98)

Depends on the usage because mb128 has unlimited video onz. If youtube, videos usage is high, can easily hit 30gb or more.
*
If want unlimited video onz, then P98 is more than enough..for 30gb so called 'high speed' data, unlimited calls, music onz, video onz. Save myr30 per month, but as for MB128 on prepaid, they can subscribe what ever time they wish. Not every month. All the broadband postpaid plan are useless..really? for myr68 u get 4gb peak 2gb off peak?

replying my own comment LOL..afaik umi30 get 10gb total (7.5gb so called "high speed" data, 2.5gb video onz) plus 30 minutes voice to all network. If you always cakap-cakap on phone then i suggest use p48 (5gb data,5gb video onz, unlimited voice.

Yeah, that is the price umobile able to offer now. real unlimited video streaming with unrestricted resolution not suitable for mobile and it also wont be rated so cheap smile.gif
compared to my P1 home package paying 160 per mth unlimited capped at 2mbps, P78 currently is the cheapest unlimited which u can carry on hand. although P1 has much more stable network connection  tongue.gif
But videonz is covering also hotspot and video download from the free stream channel  brows.gif
*
Then better infine 150 dont you think? With the right modem, everything unlimited including voice..hehe

P78 user here. Actually I do hope that the apps can still shoe me my usage on data instead of show unlimited status. Or is there a way to show ?

Dono why last time on celcom weekday 10gb I use only around 5 to 7gbmonthly but with same phone same usage pattern on uMobile my usage is almost 1gb a day.
*
is it really matter to you?since you on p78, i guess it is not really matter la kan since it is unlimited? 1gb a day=30gb a month. you can try looking at data usage provided by your phone is it?it is not exact amount of data but you'll get the picture..And by the way,in the itemised bill, the data usage will be shown..hehe
