Any other umobile users in ss7 area ?Just wonder how is your line quality like. Mine keeps dropping from 4g so bad that I just rather leave it on 3g. Not to mention there are even dead spots with no line at all.

U mobile coverage all over Klang Valley pretty sucks now. I've left it about two weeks ago. There's no point of unlimited everything when you can't utilise it. Now I'm pretty happy with Digi and Celcom. Digi for home Internet and Celcom for mobile phone.

I still plan to port my Celcom to Umobile. Celcom signal is congested la .... so far my u28 also same congested as Celcom but the problem is Celcom I pay 80. If both also congested I rather pay for the cheaper telco
*
Check your apn setting. Is it celcom3g? I faced the same problem before this. Try change your apn to altel/xox/tunetalk/redone. All of them works better than the default apn.

*
Why you want to ship the sim online. Just get from any 7-Eleven lah.

Wan to ask something, is telco line affect GPS? My GPS signal is weak as fuck especially in morning. I am a grab driver, so im fucking frustrated. I did try my other phone with Maxis line. It was smooth, is it my phone prob or the telco?
*
The only way to really know is to put another sim inside your phone. If you're using high accuracy mode is your location setting, I reckon network strength would be a factor as well.

Yeah times square is okay, but everywhere else is pretty much very lousy. KLCC, MidValley etc.

Bro what is your definition of lousy?
Please elaborate. Thank you

And besides KLCC and MV, where else is "lousy"?

Everywhere I go in Klang Valley, u mobile network is unstable, slow and jumps frequently between EDGE and 3G. Just to give u an example, some areas in upscale Bangsar only have EDGE. 4G is very limited. Coverage inside building is just hopeless like Digi. And after 5pm, the speed gets worse. At times I cannot even open Google. What the point of having a really cheap package and plenty of quota when you can't use it? It was a real pain in the arse, so I ported out to celcom. Not as good as maxis, but way way better than u mobile.

Wow offer vs offer are u still using u mobile?
*
Nope. Mobile on celcom, home broadband on digi. I really like u mobile though, because it's the cheapest. If and when the quality has improved substantially, then I'll probably jump ship again to u mobile

I guess there are still many parts of kl I need to test. Haha

U went to all the shopping malls, lrt and train stations. So no wonder the result is good. At residential areas. Speed is really really bad. Less than 1Mbps typically.

So 1 year+ ago, I started using P50. It was okay. At first I used too many calls but eventually I found a balance. Data was no issue because I have WiFi at home.
But I recently got a new job that requires me to make more calls and I had to go outstation a lot more. So I found that I was counting data.

So I decided to upgrade to P78....and this package is complete and utter GARBAGE.

The operator warned me the service would be slower but this is ridiculous!

Before I switched over, I decided to use up my balance of data. I decided to see what kind of speeds I was capable of. I got uTorrent and was clocking 500-600 kbps. I was excited to be getting unlimited data, because even at 10% that speed, it would be acceptable as a background activity. But when I finally got P78, I was barely getting 5kbps.

Okay... Okay... So I checked around and found that P2P is only 64kbps, not 5mbps. Okay, that is reasonable. Because otherwise, people will just torrent like crazy.

But even regular downloads take waaaay too long for "high speed internet". Not only that, I found my connectivity dropping at random for no reason. So even loading regular web pages could be as bad as dial up as the connectivity would drop in the middle of loading up a flippin' webpage!

But worst of all, it's even affecting my life. Because after getting it, I found that I wasn't even getting my WhatsApp or WeChat messages. As a result, my boss has to call me regularly rather than just leave a message.

I have a good relationship with my boss but come on lah, who wants to be constantly called by their boss for every little thing?

P78 is an absolute piece of trash that has noticeably inconvenienced me in a very short span of time. I might get rid of it first thing in the morning. But I still need a higher package than P50. Would you guys recommend P70?  It should suit my needs but now I have lost confidence with uMobile on general
I am wondering if I should return to P50 because I am afraid P70 will be just as bad as P78.

Just change to digi bro. As cheap as u mobile, but service far exceeding the latter.

U mobile getting worst day by day. I can't take this anymore. used to have P98 for home internet(still haven't terminate yet). recently subscribed to digi BB70 with 40+50+10 gb and hellll a lot more fast and stable than U.
Supplementary plan under P98 (share 20) can direct MNP right? who can confirm?
*
If I'm not mistaken, you have to port out both numbers. Or u have to convert the supplementary line into another primary line, only then you port out that number.
