I'm just go to garage sales and check price between lyn with amazon, our malaysia price will a lot cheaper.

As model LG 23MP68VQ is USD288 (approx RM1267) but only RM1035 in malaysia

erm, just check once again, input wrongly, is USD 169.00 (approx RM700) i think the price will roughly to similar price with older model LG 24MP68VQ.

Sorry that get you wrong price info.

Curve actually is really not much help for small size screen....
If u going with bigger size than 27 inch and try to keep whole screen in sight, curve will benefit u.
But a 24 inch = =..... wotrthless

And a curve always got worser uniformity than flat.

been using 24mp68vq fpr a few months, aside of the rumored freesync bug which i nvr encountered before since im using nvidia, the only problem is the stand is a bit unstable so the monitor will be a bit shakky. other than that, it is completely awesome within tht price range.

I was curious about this too so I researched around. Apparently they're both the same. 59G got gaming features which is a gimmick imo. Seen ppl say the 1ms feature kinda make things look bad actually. 68vq has thin design, better for multiple monitor setup

Take the dell if you really care about image quality. Get the LG if you just want a budget ips monitor for casual use. Other recommendation? see budget first

Did you know Dell is using LG or Samsung panel. If LG or Samsung panel is not good, Dell also.

Dell always more expensive probably due to it using people panel. Not means it is the best. Off course Dell monitor won't be bad either.

Nope i didn know about their panels thanks for letting us know. Depends on the model i guess. I saw the review for that Dell U2417H and they said the color accuracy is better compared to Lg 24mp68vq and price almost double

Im using it and I think this monitor is the best at its price point. The advantage this monitor has is the 75hz refresh rate and the design imo. The rest of the spec are pretty much the same compared to acer, asus, dell, benq, blablabla

For color accuracy, then you shall compare with others model. You compare a double price product is very unfair.

Yup, Dell don't produce panel, Dell all using LG or Samsung panel. Mostly is LG.

Just bought 24MP59G today, this is my first IPS display. It's pretty good. Can't review the Freesync since I'm using nvidia cards, but toggling it for the first time enables the 75Hz refresh rate. You can disable it afterwards and still have 75Hz option.

The 1ms Motion Blur Reduction is strictly in-game only, use it on desktop and you will notice the flickering since it strobes the backlight every milisecond. But coupled it with Vsync it really did kill the motion blur making games clearer, in the UFO Blur Buster test I can see the UFO clearly while in motion.

The Response Time is pixel overdrive menu, by using UFO Blur Buster its safe to enable it to Middle or Low, on High it cause inverse ghosting. You can clearly see it with your eye with the 1ms motion blur reduction turned on.

Oh, if you want to use DisplayPort you need to purchase your own cable. It only supplied with HDMI cable.

You can enable it from monitor by switching to Freesync. There are still screen tearing. Not sure if they are still there after the new update.
