must be student who went to brighton..
I'm English, but I lived in KL for 16 years up until about 6 years ago. Hope to be back some time in the next decade though permanently.
Newcastle secured promotion yesterday so they will be joining us. We need 3 points from our last two games to clinch the title. It is absolutely amazing that we could win the league given Newcastle spent over GBP50 million on their team this season - they should have won the league by 15 points!
Actually it is not our first promotion to the top division, we were there in 1979-83 but since then we have been as low as the 4th division and almost went out of business in '97 when we lost our old ground. To see us rise from near oblivion is like a fairy tale for me. You can see what it means to Brighton to be promoted in that video (I am somewhere on that pitch

). When Newcastle were promoted last night it seemed like almost a formality for their fans.
At least now people in Malaysia will KNOW who I support when I tell them. Unlike before when people would say "but which Premier League team do you support?"
I am looking forward to some big away games next season. It has been a long time since I last visited Old Trafford, Stanford Bridge, Goodison Park etc as a Brighton fan!
