Looks like we have to wait till after 12am before we can have any acceptable level of online play. Incidentally, its usually after 12 that all BT downloads get unthrottled. So whatever TM $hit is doing to throttle the P2P downloads is also slowing down online play.. Sigh, sucks to be here.

Seems like PA is not giving out USD 5 discount coupons anymore. I did write to them about it and here's the reply. My last purchase from them was about USD 150 and still didn't get a coupon.
QUOTE thank you for contacting Play-Asia.com. Oh well..I am very sorry. We may not offer coupons along with every orders. In case of any further question please do not hesitate to contact us again. Best regards, Michelle Play-Asia.com This post has been edited by welwitchia: Mar 28 2007, 05:49 PM |

Guys, think about it. We live in Malaysia, a tropical country with lots of thunderstorms. Do u think its wise to connect u'r PS3 ethernet port directly to the wall plug? Maybe i'm just paranoid but i wouldn't. Just my 2 cents.

Did u guys download the baseball game demo from PSN? The word fugly cannot even begin describe how bad the graphics look and all that for about 900MB download. This is exactly what the PS3 does not need. Sheesh!!! I kid u not when i say it looks worst than a PS2 game..more like a PS1 game.

Actually, i think i know where all the 900MB went too..the commentary. They should just shut the hell up.. keeps babbling non-stop. It makes me feel bad wasting Streamyx's bandwidth on this turd.

Guys, does it make sense when i say i get better picture quality with component than with HDMI?
Sounds weird right? With HDMI, the black the background is always that damn grey..sure i can lower the brightness to make it black but everything becomes too dark. I decided to try components yesterday and wow..its so much better. I'm now using the HDMI for my DVD player which doesn't have that stupid greyish black.. Maybe my PS3 HDMI is a lemon. I'm gonna be using components from now on. |

Bought a used Genji for RM90. As expected the camera angles were crap but i was really surprised by the graphics. They're pretty and colorful!!
Oh well, I'm happy with the purchase. I like button mashing games. |

^ Yeah, i get what u mean.. but if u want to just button mash and not think, i think Genji pretty much fits the bill.

The shop at the top floor where the IT center is. I only recall seing Genji. They have a limited selection of 360 games(ori). Most are pirated. I thing i remember is that they have an "ok" selection of Wii games(ori). Prices are not bad. At least they don't try to insult u by quoting ridiculous prices.

^ Not a fair statement though, most 3ROD can be fixed now using the X-Clamp method.
Or u can get both! I finally got my Wii yesterday, so my collection is complete. Yay to me..lol This post has been edited by welwitchia: May 4 2007, 02:02 PM |
