my disc always inside the drive wen i off it, although it seems better to take it out and place it in its proper casing

iff u power off ur PS3, the sixaxis is automatically off, if u leave it idle, im not sure

u can try plugging the USB in to ur computer usb cable, hopefully it charges

FW are all the same right now, if u wanna cahnge ur asian region to becum US region as to play back region 1 PS2 games, shud be impossible, unless some mod chip is added, but definitely not rhru the method u stated. but curiosly, why u wanna do tat? for ps2 games?

I know i update my PS3 version with Motorstorm disc. Yes, I want to convert to US version to play PS2 games.

the latest is 1.70, ur motorstorm cums with 1.7?

convert to US version not available rite now, unless some desporado really need to play it or hack it for piracy PS2 games on PS3, its quite impossible

play it on ur PS2 lar, furthurmore, for some the graphcis not so good

i dunno whether its true or not...but when my controller idle so quite sometime it will shutdown auto (no small red lights) so what i do is just press ps button..

i think u updating game only... but who know

yup like 360 ...when u online and put new game it will update that game (for new maps/avatar bla..bla)..but not software for console....but dunno bout ps3 thou..

i dont think you can change the ID of the console to play PS2 games.

this is why i m getting the ntsc uc version, even tho its a bit expensive.
