Yup using latest firmware. Already elevate using hard foam but still hang. Connection suddenly stop & after a minute it resume but only happen when multiple download. Lol weird

Hey guys, I'm currently using TP-Link Archer C2 and subscribed to Unifi 100Mbps but the maximum speed that I'm getting from speed test is only around 4xMbpx

I'm not sure whether if the router is the bottleneck capping the speed to below 50Mbps as the description from the router says it can support up to 300Mbps or something related to my fiber optic cable that will need the Unifi technicians.

Thanks for the suggestion, just tried to use 5GHz and managed to achieve 102Mbps using speedtest.net, I've previously read that 2.5Ghz have a wider coverage range so I've been using that all these while, never knew there will difference in the throughput.

Hi experts, I just installed unifi at my parent's place and got the c1200. My own house has the older silver dlink one which I can create  a new wireless ssid and tag it to the hyptv vlan. I don't seems to be able to do it with the c1200. Can someone confirm this ?

There's a new firmware for C1200 V1 - anyone have upgraded to the 16/5/18 firmware?

Currently on UniFi Pro 100Mbps plan but the router randomly reboots and speeds will drop whenever the CPU gets to 100% for a long time  :/

So how was this unit?  Is it really good?

hi, is the C5 router by unifi able to configure the google dns? because c1200 was blocked by unifi.

im wondering if unifi could exchange the router ? just got the router 2 weeks ago and the speed is very slow than before. even my 50mb package is faster than new package 100mb. they gave me the aicher 1200. been wondering if i could demand for faster speed and whether their new router will also blocked the google dns? if it's blocked i rather buy new router instead of request for change . tks.

I have changed the DNS in the router and it still doesn't work in some of the restricted site. Web lawang etc.. 

He probably changed DNS at wrong location.

The first is at Advanced, Network, Internet, Advanced  -----> this one is for router only (eg, check firmware upgrade dns resolution, NTP server)

The second is at Advanced, Network, DHCP Server  -----> this is the correct one. DHCP will forward the dns you specified here to your devices.

Last one is for IPv6, Advanced.

i did the first one, second one but not the third one..
any guidance on how to do the 3rd one in IPv6. couldn't find the dns changing in IPv6.

Im also currently checking on the firmware.

unfortunately when i visited the tplink page, i think my firmware seem like a more latest one if judging by the firmware no.
i may be wrong if judge on the number sequence as date formation . can you guys confirm if im having the latest update in my router. im afraid i have to do it manual again if i updated the wrong firmware.

i need help.
I been offered the upgrade by Unifi to 100mbps . After their tech came to change my asus router to tplink router, i noticed my streaming movies buffer for a long time and since i don't have problem loading any of the movie catalogue in a swift before, now it takes ages to download the list.

I wrote to them and their feedback was, i will be billed RM 50 for the servicing. I found this ridiculous. I expect they knew the problem about this model Aicher 1200 which were known to have issue with cpu as claimed in this network topic. Why are they still giving out something that caused more problem than my old package.

And since my contract is over, they said if i request for a new replacement, i have to sign a new contract again. I wonder if this is consider blackmailing me to sign up new contract. Don't you think im suppose to get new router instead without me getting into more contract signing?

What should i do from here, guys. im kinda pissed off with them because it is taking ages for them to make decision.
In my earlier conversation with their customer service, they said that the latest upgrade firmware may not be compatible or may have issues. how true is this? I thought TPlink co should have known or work with TM . if it's problem, than shouldn't they fix the bug and give a more latest upgrade.

I just want to know , how many of you have gone through this and pursue the matter with them? Do they replace a different router model to you after complaining without having to sign a fresh contract ?
