Does all the unifi routers have the ability to control traffic?
UniFi's TP-Link Routers C5, C7 & C1200, Newer is not better.

QUOTE(Jjuggler @ Sep 17 2017, 02:55 AM) to reset the router, there will be a small hole button there in the router. you just press for few seconds and there you go. You have successfully reset the router. But mind you, this will cause all your configuration such as ppoe connection, wireless connection, qos to be reset as well and you need to set up it again once by one. ya i know hahah thanks bro |

Good day fellow forumers. I am currently using c1200 provided by tm after successfully upgraded to 100mbps via free speed upgrade. The router I received is the router that get negative reviews from fellow forumers. I do agree. When i receive the router, it hangs after I use it. So a respected forumer, nikrizal, suggested me to upgrade the firmware using australian firmware. Once I upgrade, i realize it improves the performance of the router drastically. I am a heavy torrent user, when downloading, the router didn't freeze. In a day, 12 devices connect to the router and still the router performs the best. So the problem is on the Malaysian firmware programmed for unifi. This is my experience using c1200 so far.

Will it not run into any problem? here you go.Archer C1200 Firmware then choose this version: Archer C1200(EU)_V1_170616 Flash like normal way we do when flashing the firmware. It will take time around 5 to 10 min for the flashing process Then you are done. DO the setup process normally. Do makesure before you flashing the firmware, connect your ethernet cable to LAN 2 port behind your router. Because flashing the firmware will make LAN 1 as an iptv port. |

I had faced the same issue of lost internet disconnection with my office ArcherC5 v2 (Firmware: 3.17.1 Build 20160317 Rel. 4317) via wifi. However, no this problem when i was in my home with DIR-850L.

I'm using C1200 v1 now but i don't have such problem as constant 100% cpu utilization, 5 minutes boot up time nor router hang issue.
The router CPU utilization on my end is pretty much normal (less than 50%) with SPI firewall enabled & USB sharing access on. Power on router until wifi get connected on my cellphone is around 1min30sec. Btw, i get this router from TIME broadband and the firmware version is 1.0.0 Build 20170816 rel.36416 (EU) |

Using the C1200 router from TM, just want to confirm the QOS can't work if we use the router for unifi?

Yes, I have to say TP-LINK Archer C1200 is by far the best router provided by TM.
