Me too, wondering how this phone camera performance over Mi 5X.

In China MiMax 2 selling price is higher than 5X. Size 5X feature dual camera, but considering the fact that both using same Sony sensor. Both might be the same? But Mi advertisement on Max2 doesn't shout out much on its camera compare with 5X

Opsss I see
Do u think which will capture better image?
Online research found Max2 camera take quite decent, some review site even said impressive picture during condition of enough light. But low light still manager poorly.

Not sure the 5X will be the same it better.

In term of size, I quite excited to try 6.44 inch screen

This is the third day I'm using this new toy and must say this is the best smartphone I've used to date. The size (6.44in) is not really that big. Can easily slip into my pocket. Doesn't weigh that much too. Must say the battery life is really #1.

What I like:
Battery life - no longer have to hug the wall plug or carry a powerbank arond;
Screen size - super crisp and nice to watch movie and read ebook and browse;
Speed is responsive (don't play games so can't comment);
Speakers - definitely stereo; it's awesome, just love the clarity especially when in landscape mode. Don't know why, but in potrait mode it's I think in mono.

What I don't like:
The regular USB connector /charger port is no more - now it's replaced by the newer Type-C connector; gosh now I can't share a cable with all my other android device. Guess it's for the better as newer devices will eventually have this port.

do u mind share some picture taken with Mi Max 2 Camera? Some review claims its outdoor low light pic very terrible, its seem like far from acceptable quality?

I'm not so much into photography, so my shots my not be a good representation of what the camera can do. Anyway just snapped a couple of night shots of the Penang Hill area.

Thanks!!! the panorama picture overall is quite good (compare with my RN2 which is sucks!) but lack of details
Low light picture at night, hmmm... i think is just okay, but quality wans't really acceptable.

Currently searching for my second phone to replace RN2, Mi Max 2 does catch my eyes on what it has to offer, but what hold me back is the camera quality (I love taking pic for recording of life memories)

But given 1199 price point, after seeing the picture, what I can say is give & take, arrghh, still undecided..

anyway, TQ very much for the pic, at least I have a better idea on the cam quality

just curious, i notice some authorised reseller pricing is rm1199, similar to lazada, since both r under same warranty by xiaomi, why want to buy online? i always thought online is cheaper by at least rm100.

More of personal preference, buying with lazada official Mi site for peace of mind, but outside seller claiming they are original too, I rather wait for online purchase delivery
