Hi,

Im planning to buy a router for my maxis sim card but I don't know which modem supported by maxis. How to know whether the modem can support maxis sim card or not?

I have several in mind, such as this TP link modem:

http://uk.tp-link.com/products/details/cat..._TL-MR6400.html

and this is another one from Asus:

https://www.asus.com/Networking/4G-AC55U/

I need a modem with a router capability with LAN port as Im using it for my office.

Thanks.

4g signal strength weak, ping was inconsistence and lag, it is ok for normal browsing or streaming, but not for gaming

owh really? No, actually want to use the sim card as a backup line only. My main line will be unifi...so yeah...plus its for office use, so stability is my concern. There is several other requirement that i need in the modem (such as guest wifi with bandwidth management), but not sure whether huawei e5186 can support or not.

But yeah, thanks for you suggestion, now I have more options. thumbup.gif
