QUOTE(yklooi @ Oct 10 2020, 03:53 PM) Thanks for highlighting it. Last year it was Nomura Income Fund because it has higher MGS holdings (at 40% currently). Last year MGS performed well. If you study the breakdown of Amanahraya it has more bonds for infrastructure and if not mistaken MGS holdings less than 10%. To buy steady bond funds Malaysia just make sure it is not invested in Mex Highway of which the grading downgraded few times. That's why some RHB bond funds and KAF underperformed as they hold bond raised under Mex II Sdn Bhd (https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/marc-extends-negative-watch-placement-mex-ii-ratings). March and September is the time to monitor bond performance because malaysia is subject to ftse russel review. In September 2020, Amanahraya barely move due to this hence it is good time to top up. I bought Amanahraya syariah fund way before fundsupermart make it a recommended fund.Since when had it been performed this well? How did it performed when compared to others previously? Will the factors contributing to its stellar performance be reversed? This post has been edited by ky33li: Oct 10 2020, 04:49 PM |
