Why so many idiots invest in low return dubious companies? Wanna take risk in dubious companies also at least go for those offering 10% a month la. If only 10% a year just go for high risk investments with banks la.

the team presenting the product is only a marketing arm afaik, they have pretty much no control over the operations of the investment, etc.

i went to the presentation but one thing got me curious is that is it even legal to collect funds from the public to invest into such companies? and even promising returns in 'dividends'.

i was thinking the regulation was a little stricter when it comes to public funding, like at least require you to have a license or something. asked the question but they say it's completely legal but don't require license. seems shady from that point on.

Legit or no, I'm not sure.

Put yourself in their shoes. If they can offer 10-15%, they must be able to generate profits way higher than that. If they can guarantee you, is it not better that they go to banks with lower interest rates and less need to do marketing etc? If they're so revolutionary, why not approach those venture capital if there banks don't layan? Because they know their plan will be picked apart by the experienced investors. They go to non sophisticated public for funds because they actually can't guarantee that returns. Easier to default with public then with banks. And that's considering they're legit in the first place. If they're a scam, then its collapse is inevitable.

So think about it.
