any front finger sensor switch to mate 9? how u find is it more difficult to unlock the phone as its at the back instead?

still considering mate 9 or p10 plus... p10 got quite a number of bad news so far.
but seems like mate 9 is more positive, but the super big size and weight and the back finger print is a bit of drawback for me.

Mate 9 Pro then.
I noticed some user complain about P10.
Maybe upcoming updates will improve its battery life.

I think most user here agree at battery life improves update over update.

Not sure if all P10 user having battery drain or just the handful.

mate 9 pro for you then.... but p10 plus have water resistance and better camera than mate 9... although mate 9 pro camera not really bad though... mate 9 pro pricing not too far from p10 plus... and the finger print is at the front if not mistaken....

frankly speaking... i always feel battery issues is software issues only... every updates can make it better.... unless yours are lemon unit with lemon battery....

I understand your concern, for mate 9 case, ive always put it on standing position on a phone holder and its been convenient for me to unlock it with the sensor on the back. It's deff a hassle when you just happen to put it lying on surface and you need to check for messages however in most situations i actually got used to the fact that i can just pick it up and unlock it instantly. It's actually not always the best when you have the sensor on the front. Like for example you're holding and looking at the screen and it's so easy to lit it up with just your finger right on the back instead of using your thumb to touch the sensor at front bottom.
For me i think there are advantages and disadvantages for both placement. What would be perfect for me is to have the sensor on the back and a built in double tap to wake up for front screen. That would be legit  laugh.gif

Thanks, you guys are helpful, hahaha getting so many ppl reply my question.

9pro is too expensive, and not really nice design compare to p10+

hesitate simply because p10+ performance is worst than p10, even battery life, could be due to 2k screen also.
also having the storage issue which recently brought up, different storage type using and cause the performance different. And of course is about the screen issue.
Else should be good buy.

how about honor 8? i had it for awhile,it was a gorgeous solid phone with great camera sold it for op3t cause wanted to have an opposite experience for my secondary phone since primary already have mate 9 smile.gif

Yes one of my consideration. It was even before I bought my s7 I'm am considering for both. At the end I still dun like Samsung. Especially with the fingerprint sensor that is not as fast as others, and will get scratch easily.

Honor 8 is not dual speaker right?

Unfortunately no. The speaker on H8 is one of its downsides. Not as loud as mate 9 but acceptable for me.

ya thats my concern too... most 5.1" only have low battery capacity and not dual speaker...

metal phone always got this leaking issue... depends how bad is the leak... if it makes ur hand burned then is serious issue.
however, my iphone 6+ and ipad all also got leak issue, when charge and use, very uncomfortable, just use case or unplug the charger. anyhow u shouldnt charge and use.
