Hmm it is quite disappointing that huawei did not disclose this at the first place but then again the grass is not always greener on the other side. You may never know what were the rest top players up to and they could just happen to hide it well.

Well they wouldn't disclose their everything rite. Previously I was using note 4 which have 2 different camera sensor which is by Sony n Samsung. No disclosure by Samsung till ppl find it. Hahaha. Well I dun think this happens only in electronic but other things as well

Huawei CEO justification is "He also added that he didn’t notice any difference in performance while using the Huawei Mate 9 with a UFS 2.1 storage and the Huawei P10 Plus with an eMMC 5.1 storage."

Some Mate 9 are UFS 2.0 and some are 2.1. Besides the benchmarking numbers, are the day to day performance really worlds apart? I guess most manufacturers would have done the same. I bet their justifications would be the same as Huawei's which is the average Joe wouldn't notice it. I am not saying that this is the right practice. Unless there is a world regulation body which govern how phones should be specified (something like JEDEC for RAM speeds), do expect the same thing to happen. But then again, manufacturers would outsmart the consumer with more fine prints and caveats.

As we also know that Huawei has taken down the UFS2.1 flash storage ads recently for Huawei Mate 9, this is totally no need if u r not in shit.

Other players like Samsung & Apple may using different suppliers in their products but doesn't mean u can lie about the specification or standard that you use? Right? No matter what, UFS2.1 will not be the same as eMMC 5.1 in terms of specification & performance.

Anyway, this Mate 9 will be my last Huawei phone. Haha...

Hi. My friend recently had her LCD screen cracked and looked like below. Phone was bought one month ago as part of maxis one plan package.

I read here Huawei gives free screen replacement within 3 months. How and whereabouts to I go and claim this?

Attached Image

Thanks for any help.

Repaired my phone screen at Fastech Subang Square. RM499 (negotiable). After repair, checked screen at full brightness side by side with a friend's mate 9 and color is a bit on the warm side. But after change colour temperature to cold, is almost identical. Thank goodness there are cheaper alternatives compared to Huawei SC. In comparison photo, the right phone is with new screen.

forgot the brand (was recommended by the shop) but it's soft and nice to touch on. Was told it's anti crack but sceptical on that as it's really soft.

Last time on Note7 tried some RM10 before and it's not exactly fitting due to the curved screen, SP at times will come out sticking to my finger.
