Which merchats are you looking for? There are many merchants in Penang such as Parkson, Gama, SEC, SenQ, CBTL, etc

My salary this month going to be late(3rd May). I have around 2k outstanding with my Visa. I don't have other credit card to do balance transfer to.
Any idea? I'd hate to be incurred late fees charge.

After you pay your min payment just call them to waive the late charges.

min. payment just to save u from having bad record in ccris.. interest still will be charged.. late payment still also will be charged

It's up to the customer service/credit control staff. They will just raise the request and get management approval for the waiver which usually goes through.
As long as you pay the min payment for that month, they will have no problems waiving the late payment. (But ofc some banks might be different in their SOP)

My credit card application for Maybank 2 Gold was rejected today

CS told me it's because I only recently applied for 2 MBB cards (Ikhwan Petronas Visa and Ikhwan Gold MC - Both 6k Credit Limit) in January? The person also mentioned they cannot offer me higher credit limit than my Islamic cards.

Looks like that is the max CL they are willing to give you. You could call and tell them to split your CL to get Maybank2 card. Is it worth it for you to hold so many cards?

Welp, got denied on my first card application.

I submitted payslip, job contract, savings account slip. I even got FD account in maybank as well.

Oh well..

I got my M2Cards via pre-approval way, called and offered me. However, that was back in 2011.

Means you're already maxed out in terms of limits being offered by the bank

No such thing as can't apply for cards or will be rejected because you applied for other products recently.

They evaluated your credit worthiness and are unable to provide you further limit.

Just put FD if you're desperate lor. Later good paymaster can write in to release.

Yeah they last time will seek out customers and offer them pre approved cards.

I was M2C user and current MBB Ikhwan card + FD with MBB, still need to re-submit document when I re-applied M2C. Can't wait for offered, don't wanna miss the CB

Hmm I wonder if I cancel my Ikhwan Gold Master card would it help in my appeal..?

Split Credit Limit? How does it work?

example, you have 6k in ikhwan card, split 2k credit limit to M2C, then Ikhwan credit limit become 4k.

Split limit from your current Ikhwan higher chance. Let say your Ikhwan CL 10k, you can split CL to Ikhwan 5K and M2C 5K

You shall pledge FD for RM10k over the counter.

I've called the CS, unfortunately they couldn't tell the person that made the phone call.

I'm an expat and currently no loans :|.

Maybe that's why they rejected to due to my visa expiring this November 2017.
