I wouldnt bet my money on it. I think that the P1 and P990 shares a similar platform. The P1 has an advantage in terms of bigger memory and a 3.2 mp camera. Other than that it should be the similar. If S.E doesnt solve the bugs in the P990 in the August updates, I definitely would not put my money on the new P1. After what they did us P990 owners, we must be crazy to invest another Rm3k on a similar phone with so many bugs. In terms of memory, doesnt matter if U put in 1Gig of internal memory, what matters is that the platform is suffering from major memory leak.
Another thing is that after they discovered that the P990 is beyond salvation, they scraped the whole phone and made a replacement on the P1. They think we are fools to fall for that. Whats worst they throw out the P990i at dirt cheap prices and that is what makes it worst. Talk about rubbing salt to a new wound.
