cradle?? u mean the dock? I think is a whole package. But even if AP set which is selling around 1400 right now doesn't give this, I think is still worth it. The dock is useless I think. Original is selling 1999. The price is decreasing gradually since 2 months ago I bought at 2100. If you wanna buy original, can try the sony ericsson stall at Digital Mall, ground floor facing escalator. They give away 3 years warranty. They have a few other outlets which I forgot where.

Karlcheong, seems like a complicated way to flash back to Sg CDA. I just wanna know this in case I can restore if happen i need to bring my phone back for warranty. Then I should wait till they update the XS++. (I am using 3.1 darvin version)

AP comes with desktop charger and its very IMPORTANT to have one. its to charge and transfer file easier. Somemore you can easily see the screen.

i dont think so.. those p1 can not type chinese because the cda problem.... ap phone is those take from other country.... example from uk... uk phone wont preload a chinese ready phone since this useless for uk people... so just flash to those support chinese cda then can solve the problem.... wifi should be no problem at all .... maybe is the wifi router problem, cox wifi got 3 type, a, b and g.... but so far.... wifi is not a big problem for me

Yeah its complicated, but for the time being this is the method. There is a another way whereby if you have backup you original Sg CDA file, you may restore it back, again, its complicated.



If you want to buy an AP set that support chinese typing tool, make sure that the phone's CDA is from either HK, Taiwan and best of all Singapore APAC. If not flash it youself using XS++

HK = 162024/74
TW = 162024/56
SG = 162024/95

karlcheong,I found the way to restore as I mentioned earlier, but it appeared error everytime. you have the step by step that you can post here? Would like to see is the same way or not.

wumingzw, as mentioned by karlcheong, just flash your cda to either one. I'm using HK version, it doesn't support Han Yu Pin Yin. Updated firmware is faster than singapore cda though, but if you don't mind to wait, singapore cda is the best.

i bought an AP set today. Its comes with chinese software, wifi works well, havent test 3G yet so no comment.
You have to ask the dealer to install chinese software to you with no extra charges.
I bought it with rm 1400, 512 MB, chinese software, wifi works well.
i manage to connect to internet at home using wlan as well as browsing internet at starbucks coffee.

try take a pic of white paper, then can only see if got green tint or not.. for my case, its still there even after updating firmware, but lesser than before updating.. still not satisfied la, coz pay a lot for this dy

tried to take photo using white paper, i see greenish here and there. Is that the green tint?
But it won't be noticed in normal picture like above right? The picture looks great to me.
