I don't think the blurb in the first post is this book, but if you read the book's synopsis carefully:

Watak dan peribadi Wong Fei Hung serta zaman kehidupannya mengundang polemik yang mengatakan beliau seorang Muslim.

Maybe the book was referring to the article in the first post.

Also, that
