Ive been reading this thread since last week after i sent my resume for
Advertising & Promotion Executive (A&P) for Petronas Motorsports (PETMOS).
Got a call from Petronas HR this morning regarding my application, probably will
get another call for a chit-chat session somewhere this week or next.

Anyone have any input about the enviroment in Petronas Motorsports?

oh btw, i'm an advertising copywriter in an international agency with
5 years of experience. So i guess, i would qualify E2 group yes?

To answer your question, I am not familiar with Petronas Motorsports so can't really help you there. But with 5 years experience, you should be aiming for E2 position.

nope not yet since i just had my convocation last saturday, the HR personnel asked me to email the transcript and scroll to them first before they proceed with further action. plus, the HR personnel is having a training in PRSB hence slower the process i guess. oh, it means that i have to be jobless for another month? deng 
imo, it's better for u to call them straight since u know lah how the department works kan.

I passed my SI in September. I have recently done my medical check up and I am expecting to join PIPE in December. So I doubt you will join in this November unless they really speed up everything for you.

I am not sure the person in charge will be the same or not as I directly went to SI without chit chat session.

Why don't u write an email to the HR executive who contacted you all this time?

relax..petronas HR memang slow..

I had to wait for 1 month to be called for SI after submitting declaration form.

had to wait another 1 month to be called for CBI (they didn't do my SI and CBI together).

a week after the CBI, asked them if I'm recommended, they said yes.

had to wait another 3 months to be called to come for medical checkup.

on the day I'm supposed to do the medical checkup, didn't receive my medical checkup letter (the letter you give to the hospital in order for them to charge Petronas instead of paying yourself) until I ARRIVED at the hospital.

then only got my offer letter.

I attended PGB SI last 3 weeks and today I got a call from the HR asking me to do med checkup next week on monday at pusrawi. The HR staff didn't mention about the offer letter or getting hired etc. She just mentioned about the medical checkup. so, I'm wondering whether I really got the job or not? FYI, I am a finance freshgrad. When i attended the SI, they didn't specifically mention the position im applying for. They just put Executive in the form. tq in advance people

I know your feeling bro...I also just joined the company and I had to tender my resignation letter after I get offer letter from Petronas. Luckily 1 month before that, I refused to go for training that will cost me being bonded with current company for 2 years..hahaha

My SI is on this Tuesday. How can i know whether the SI would be for CA programme or for a job? because I applied both. would probably prefer for a job. Anyone know?
